This week’s a sigh of relief, focus on the now

After several weeks of uncertainty, a balance appears to be returning this week (May 19-May 25).

The Empress and The Emperor — the mother and father figures or the yin and yang of tarot — have appeared in equal numbers. 

Cards related to planets Mars and Venus also appear in large numbers, with Mars outnumbering Venus. 

Are they dancing the tango or challenging each other? Nevertheless, the appearance of Venus itself balances things out.

Mars energies continue to remain high, but they are now being put to better use in hard work and in recreation. 

What caught my attention is III of Pentacles, which appears thrice and X of Cups, which appears twice. Both cards represent Mars energy — one being deployed diligently at work and the other in high emotional bliss. This side of Mars diffuses any kind of negativity associated with the warrior planet.

This week, there are no sudden changes or turning points. This week, it’s all about living in the moment.

Growth energies also surround us, given that number 3 appears six times. Although there are certain midpoint challenges, too, it’s best to look to what can be done now rather than worry about what can’t.

With The Star appearing twice, the surrounding energies become more benevolent.
