Turnarounds spring hopes of a new era

Life is likely to come full circle this week (March 15-March 21).

Watered-down, events are likely to culminate in turning points indicating new starts, albeit in an environment that’s a bit hazy or delusional.

With spring around the corner, there’s hope of harmony setting in. Cards related to Venus got pulled five times, strengthening this view.

Cards related to Saturn got pulled eight times this week. Saturn could impose boundaries on anything that is not orderly or sincere. It is likely to be driven more by emotional idealism and altruism than by hardcore, disciplined materialism.

This week, the balance is tilting away from the fire element that dominated the last two weeks to create extraordinary situations. 

From what I see in the cards, water has doused fire, emerging as the single largest element, making this a week when emotions and intuition are likely to drive actions. 

Like water, one is asked to surrender to the Will of God.

Water must not be underestimated though. As we learn from Lao Tzu, nothing is more flexible and yielding than water. Yet, when it attacks the firm and the strong, none can withstand it.

What’s more, the top ‘go-getters’ of the Zodiac — Aries and Capricorn — are missing this week. On the other hand, Pisces and Cancer bring calming effects to the collective — Pisces soaking us into deeper spiritual realms and Cancer asking us to return ‘home’ to compassion and care.

Cards related to Pisces — which appeared an unprecedented nine times — metaphorically mark ‘dissolution’ (of the ego, if you will).

Pisces is a deeply spiritual and emotional sign. Aries, by being absent this week, offers the stage to Pisces. It is as though Pisces is revealing its core identity in its last week before the Spring equinox, in a crescendo that showcases the end of an era.

Pages, Knights and Queens are missing entirely, while the two Kings that have appeared are more passive and sensitive than aggressive or critical.

The presence of The Fool — appearing twice — accelerates the chances of a fresh start and also the beginning of a new era.
